What makes a good pitch

Propose one clear question or argument and explain what a reader will understand after reading. Tell us why the subject matters beyond a passing trend, what angle makes your approach distinct and how you will handle uncertainty or differing experiences. A concise pitch is more useful than a finished article sent without context.

Use the Contact page and choose the editorial option. Include a working title, a short summary, the intended reader and a brief note about your relevant experience or perspective. Do not include private information about other people without permission.

Originality and fit

We consider original, unpublished work that fits the publication's subject and voice. We do not promise publication or a response time, and a pitch should not assume that a proposed angle has already been commissioned. Please disclose any commercial interest connected to the subject.
